Media representatives enter the National Assembly through the building's main entrance at Šubičeva ulica 4 in Ljubljana. Upon entering, media representatives identify themselves by showing their permanent accreditation, or collect a temporary or daily accreditation at Reception. Afterwards, they need to undergo a security check.
The press room is located on the ground floor, left of the entrance (Room 83). It is composed of two rooms.
In the first smaller room there are:
– two workstations with PCs and internet access
In the second larger room the following is available:
– 12 workstations with internet access (8 workstations with PCs and 4 laptop sockets)
– 12 radio sets with headphones for listening to audio streams of sessions
– 2 screens for viewing live streams of the activities at the National Assembly
The press room also offers the following amenities:
– fax machine,
– water fountain.
Pursuant to the Conditions for Work of Media Representatives in the National Assembly, work may also be performed in other rooms of the National Assembly where accredited media representatives are provided with wireless internet access. Such access requires a PIN number, which is granted to the user by the Public Relations Office (adjacent room – 81).
