How to acquire access the National Assembly's wireless network?
To be granted wireless access, accredited media representatives may apply:
- in person on the premises of the Public Relations Office, Room 81, Šubičeva ulica 4, 1002 Ljubljana, or
- by e-mail: soj@dz-rs.si (Subject: Wireless network access).
In order to be granted access, the following is required:
- user name (e-mail of the media representative given upon accreditation),
- mobile phone number (number given upon accreditation).
To access the network you will need:
- the PIN number granted by the Public Relations Office on the basis of your request and accreditation.
How to login to the National Assembly's wireless network?
The National Assembly's website is easily accessible without having to log in; however, when accessing other websites, the login page appears. You need to enter:
- user name (e-mail),
- personal identification number (PIN)
- additional security code which you receive in a text message sent to your mobile phone;
- you confirm the entered information by pressing the 'login' button.
After being successfully logged in, the access to internet is available for 24 hours.
Access is supported for the following web browsers: Internet Explorer 6, Mozilla Firefox 3, Google Chrome 3, protocols such as http, https, ftp, and most of the standard VPNs (Cisco VPN, OpenVPN, etc.). The IP address is 10.246.17.X/24. When using access, security mechanisms need to be ensured by the users themselves.
Accredited media representatives have the right to access the wireless network while on the premises of the National Assembly. The PIN number issued by the Public Relations Office is valid for the time of accreditation.
Wireless network access is available on the premises of the National Assembly at Tomšičeva ulica, in the Large and Small Halls and their respective lobbies, on the balcony of the Large Hall and its lobby, in the Large and Small Reception Rooms, in the press centre (117) on the first floor, in meeting rooms 110, 209, 212, 217, in the Press and Radio Room (306), and on the hallways located on the ground, first and third floors.

Multiple unauthorised attempts to access the network will result in immediate disconnection of access. Note that only authorised access is allowed.
